Make this creamy blue cheese dressing for your next barbecue. It’s as good over grilled rib-eye steak as it is over grilled vegetables or plain boiled new potatoes.

200g blue cheese, eg, stilton, roquefort
2tbsp sour cream
1tsp Worcestershire sauce
½tsp paprika
½tsp ground cayenne
Sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Combine almost all of the blue cheese with the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper in a food processor and whizz, or mash and then beat with a wooden spoon until smooth.

Turn out into a bowl and scatter with the remaining, crumbled, blue cheese. Spoon over grilled meat or vegetables.
