WE SAY: You may not know it, but you have probably heard Emiliana Torrini's music before. The half Icelandic, half-Italian songstress performed the end theme to The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers. That was six long years ago and she's still to achieve the success she deserves.

Maybe that will all change when Emiliana releases her new album, Me And Armini.

This track, Big Jumps, is effortlessly upbeat and feel-good. It seems like an ode to jumping headfirst into life or a newfound love and believing you can take on the world, even though you know how utterly rubbish it is. Emiliana doesn't run around proclaiming her feelings from the rooftops though - oh no, she's far too cool and serene for all that. Instead, she rhythmically skips her way through a field like a little child talking to the sunshine.

Big Jumps is a breezy yet somber track with a beautiful airy feel. It paints a pretty, sun-kissed dreamscape of Emiliana's own creative imagination, encapsulated into a song for you to treasure forevermore.

This is one of those uplifting ditties that, like perfect days and perfect romances, come all too few and far between. Emiliana also encourages you to take a jump and seize the day because life is too short - we suggest you take her advice and discover this rare gem of an artist while you can.
